Re: Kobe sleeps only 3-4 hrs/night?
Bryant, 30, has been known to get up earlier than many barn owls to conduct his famously brutal workouts. One time, Larry Drew II—who now plays at North Carolina—asked to shadow him on one.
"OK," Kobe said. "Pick you up at 3:30."
But 3:30 came and went and Kobe never showed. Then, at 3:30 the next morning, he was ringing Drew's doorbell.
"You ready?" Kobe asked.
"I like to just get up and get it done," he explained to me, "then I'm back home and nobody's even up. Haven't missed a thing."

Do you think what he said is true? Are there really people like Kobe who gets by everyday with only 3-4 hrs of sleep per night?
Thanks in advance for any insights.
At least 3 or 4 months out of the year, I only get 4 hours of sleep a day except for Sunday mornings in which I go into a small coma. It's not that uncommon, the again most of us don't have Kobe's exercise regimen.

Interesting fact: Kobe sleeps only 3-4 hours a night. Michael Jordan, even in his prime, required a minimum of 6.25 hours a night. Kobe averages 2.5 dreams per night compared to Jordan's 3.0 dream's per night. However, Kobe's adjusted TD% (true dream percent) is actually higher because he sleeps less. His REM is also superior.
