Cousins and Davis are the heirs to the throne
Like Lebron and KD are now

Those are the first ones that come to my mind. There are a handful of players that are transitioning into being a superstar and some are transitioning out of it.
Wade's still a good player, but he misses way too many games and imo hasn't been a "superstar" since 2011, when he was unquestionably one of the 3-5 best players in the league. Same goes for Rose, you can't really be a superstar when you never get to play

There's a lot of elite players and a lot of stars out there but LeBron & Durant are the only "super"stars to me.

Re: Who are the superstars of the league?
Just Lebron and Durant.
Westbrook, Curry, CP3, Griffin, Davis, Harden, Dwight, etc. are in the next tier.
Superstars are a super selective group.

Re: Who are the superstars of the league?
Rose, Kobe, KD, LBJ and Melo (and maybe Blake and Wade too)
Being a superstar is more about popularity/jersey sales and name recognition instead of actual play imo.
Lillard, Curry and Wall will be big tho when they achieve some success in the postseason

Popularity is pretty high on my list when it comes to defining a superstar.
For me, it goes like this:
1. Popularity
2. Past success
3. Stats
4. Respect by his peers and coaches
Lebron is on the top of the list followed closely by Kobe, then Wade, Durant, and Rose. World wide recognition by the non-fans, casual, and hardcore fans.

Re: Who are the superstars of the league?
It depends on how you define superstar. I think there's two ways to do it:
1.) Truly elite, once in a decade-ish type players who you know can be put on just about any team in the league and take them from where they are to the next step -- i.e. a bad team to the playoffs, a non-HCA type playoff team to championship contender or fringe contender status, or a fringe contender to a true contender. Not necessarily generational/transcendent players, because that's being a little too selective in my opinion; but I do think the term "superstar" is used a little too liberally these days. Anthony Davis is on his way to being one of these type of superstars with one caveat: He has to start consistently making the playoffs and winning more games.
2.) Then you've got the type of superstars who are pretty well-known and marketable because, to the casual basketball/NBA fan, they're just as good as a LeBron and Durant. That, and/or they play in a bigger market and have commercials and a fairly popular shoe line, etc., or maybe a once transcendent/generational talent on their last legs in the twilight of their career. I think that's where pretty much every other possible superstar not in the LeBron/Durant group is at right now. Guys like CP3 (although you could argue he's in the LeBron/Durant group, Westbrook, Curry, Davis, Harden, Howard, Carmelo, Kobe, Dirk, KG, Duncan, and Wade.

Even saying 2 all stars who were top 20 the previous year is bad. So Lebron still messed his legacy up right there no matter how you slice that damn pie man
