Lin will never get credit for playing well, and will catch the flak for a shitty game. People will never treat him like an average to good NBA player, they will shit on him holding him to a CP3 level standard so he is always a failure in their eyes.

I don't think people have actually watched Jeremy Lin this season. You could play a drinking game with the number of times he simply loses his handle.

    Highly unnecessary statement right here

as a direct response to the title

he doesn't appear to have the type of the game that ages well

and think about how that translates in terms of value

How is Kobe not the worst starter atm?
    - stats prove Lakers offence improve massively when he sits
    - same with defence
    - he shoots in the mid 30ies FG
    - he shoots 20+ shots
    - he has a usage rate in 4th quarter which is very high, and bvery low FG %.
    - kills any team chemistry
    - throws team mates under the bus in media
    - tells teammates and coach to GTF out of the way
    - almost never passes in chruch when doubled or tripled
    - gets 24 millions for all this

With this team? Never heard a pip from Kobe.

Lebron on the other hand, talks to the media about his Cavs teammates as if he is the Mr. Miyagi of winning basketball. Like they are half-retarded kids or something.

Even Phil Jackson got a sense of humor about his condescending Zen talk.

Also, the whole thing about him being "overpaid" at $25 million over three years is overblown as well. The math works out to be roughly $8.4 million per year.

Other PGs making around $8.4M a year?

    Rodney Stuckey, $8.5 million
    Goran Dragic, $8.5 million
    Devin Harris, $8.5 million
    George Hill, $8 million
    Mike Conley, $7.3 million

Why does't anybody ever complain about Stuckey, Harris or Hill getting that kind of money?

Well Dragic and Conley shit on Lin and Hill is better than Lin and defends better and takes care of the ball better. Most of all he's able to play within his teams system and doesn't do just one thing or have just one speed. Stuckey makes $1.5 million and Harris makes $3.8 million. So you're way off base. Try again soon though please.

He's not even the worst starter on his team. Wesley Johnson I'm looking at you.
