You mean the cross court cam shot I just dismissed and explained why? Yeah I saw.

Wilt had his armpit at the rim while catching a shot.

It's the camera angle. He can get that high but his chin was not rim level on that dunk. His chin being at rim level in that angle would mean that he is right next to the rim looking down but he was actually in front of the rim at that point making it look like he was higher than he actually was, due to being closer to the camera than the rim.

So are you guys disputing that any part of his head wasn't above the rim?

What happened to that player from Memphis a few years ago that could kiss the rim?
This dude. DJ Stephens, apparently.
You must be a real shit ball player if you are that athletic at 6-5 and you can't even sit on the end of the bench somewhere.

His head looks legit rim level, or nearly so from the in-game half court angle. Heck his forehead might be high enough to have run into it had he not taken off so far away for all I care. It's the "looking down" (as per the cross court camera angle) that I'm contesting. Heck that cross court cam pegs his head as being half way up the square it's just ridiculous and not an accurate representation of how high he got.

Wow, that's crazy. Yeah, he must not have much game considering he's that athletic.

Fair enough. My orginal point was that some part of his head was above the rim. If that one shot you are referring too might've exagerrated the angle, so be it. Still doesn't change the fact that outside of Vince, I haven't seen anyone in-game make a dunk where any part of a player's head was at or above the rim.

It's rare, he got legitimately high for an in game unboosted dunk.
