but what does this say about the spurs-system and pop as a coach?

spurs are just soo fvcking good. they dont need to draft a top 10 prospect. they have the best scouts and their 2nd rounder will always develop into a good to even great player

    spurs, pop

    it says

    1) Ginobili is an underappreciated great player even when coming off bench
    2) but stats/numbers/ratings are deceptive
and yeah 3) Spurs system is money

    but good find.

LeBron is like, Wilt-level in terms of durability and endurance. Crazy minutes total.

It also shows that the Spurs are the only team to have a "Big 3" for the last 10 seasons together. No other team has had 3 stars/superstars stay together for that long of a time.

Of course they do. Ime is Green and Kawhi's defensive coach. He's the one who tutors them on the defense end.

Chip was the one who improved Leonard and Parker's shots.

Bud was the one who suggested the Kawhi trade and came up with the fantastic switching scheme against Phoenix in 05.

Presti is the one who scouted and pushed for Parker, even though Pop hated his game and even said he wasn't sure of the pick after Parker's rookie season.

    The list goes on.

thx bro, i honestly never heard about them at all.
Its extremly rare to have such a good composition. i wonder why they dont get offers as a HC-job?

No worried. The Spurs have lots of terrific staffers that make the organisation/team so great.

Imo, Chip is the one who gets overlooked much. If he didn't improve Parker's and Leonard's shooting/forms, I don't think they'd be half the players they are today. He's a legend around other league front offices though.

For your edit: we have had a fair few. Vaughn, Bud, Brett Brown, Mike Brown, Monty Williams. A lot of them enjoy it there so much though. Bud was getting offers for years, but he stuck around as an assistant for almost two decades.

Hopefully nobody snatches up Messina before Pop retires. I'd like to see him take over the reigns after he goes (assuming Bud isn't available).

i mean they must truly enjoy that spurs organisation...because what is an AC making? 200,000? maybe 350.000?
An HC can easily make like 2-3 mio, even if its a "newcomer"
