Re: I can't tell how tall Tracy McGrady is.
At age 17 he was 6'6.5" w/o shoes and 6'8" with shoes (his advertised height). He most likely grew a little after he was drafted. He appears to be almost exactly the same height as Ariza and Battier, so I'd guess the 6'8" number is very close. He did, however, have a larger wingspan -- 7'3" inches when he was with the Magic. Honestly, in his prime he was probably one of the top 5 most gifted NBA players ever -- too bad he was so injury prone.
Height: 6'8"
Vertical Leap: 42 inches (40.5" pre-draft)
Speed: 4.2sec in 40-yard dash (Reported in HS)
Wingspan: 7.3 inches (Reported with Magic)

No he's not, 6'8" is about right.
Looking at the pic it is believe-able that Duncan has 3 inches on him, not to mention KG and Duncan are both standing slightly behind him.

I thought it was widely agreed that KG was 7'1. It's not crazy to think T-Mac's 6'9ish.

Decent college freshman
Re: I can't tell how tall Tracy McGrady is.
Honestly, he looks 6'7 to me...I guess you can say he's 6'8 with shoes on - not like ir matters anyway

Check out the Battier-Ariza pic with T-Mac that's gonna be the best comparison you can find. All 3 are listed at 6'8"

Nah KG isnt 7'1"...Shaq is. KG is 7 feet tall at the most but he claims to be 6'11" and 3/4.

I've always heard TMAC to be 6'8 in shoes and 6'6.5 barefoot. But I wouldn't be surprised if he grew some after that initial measurement.

I know that's what KG's listed at. But come on, the dude has to be 7'1 by now. He's huge.

That's a good shot. I guess 6'8"-ish makes sense. That 4.2 second 40-yard dash is probably bulllshit though. And, honestly, I've never encountered a pair of shoes that grant their wearer an extra inch and a half. Normal, men's shoes, that is - I'm not doubting he looks great in a pair of pumps though.
