16) A couple of interesting stats: Kobe had games with 62 against Dallas, 56 against Memphis, 52 against Utah and 51 against Denver and either sat for the entire fourth quarter or pretty much all of it
This one is just amazing, dude could have scored 70/80+ pts plenty of times.

that 62 after 3 against Dallas was complete rape. he could have easily got 80 that game. he was more in a zone that game then 81 in my opinion.

I think sometimes during the 2005-2006 season, didn't Kobe score +45 points for 5 games or something ridiculous like that? I vaguely remember that streak compared to Wilt's.
Ok I think it was 06-07 season

Kobe scored 65, 50, 60, 50, then 43, so it might've been +40 points streak, but damn, looking at 05-06 and 06-07, Kobe was a beast on scoring.
When Kobe scored his first NBA point, LeBron was 11 years old, Dwight Howard was 10 and Kevin Durant/Derrick Rose had both just turned 8
Love this bit.
Wow, even weirder, when Jordan first played, 84-85 season, Kobe was 6 years old (Kobe born in '78), and now he's the daddy of the NBA. Plus, LeBron wasn't even born yet (or was about to in two months).

He actually did record 4 straight 45+ point games in 05-06.
Separate from the 4 straight 50+ point games he had in 06-07.
