Default Saddest Death on "The Wire" (Potential Spoilers)

Wallace comes to mind. Good kid who really didn't belong in the game to begin with gets gunned down in that rowhouse by his childhood friends (Bodie and Poot) by orders of Stringer Bell. Once Wallace came back from down south you knew it was only a matter of time.

    Others?

Wallace was sad. Stringer's death was pretty sad as well.

Sobotka's. When he was walking towards the Greek and his crew, you knew it was over for him.

Proposition Joe and Omar's deaths (that little punk ass kid shot him) were sad too.

Even though she was a ruthless bitch, Snoops death was kind of sad because she knew what was coming and just took it. That's what I love about the show, anyone was liable to get killed at anytime regardless of how favored they were by the audience.

Snoop's was probably the funniest/"most satisfying" one for me. Couldn't stand that dyke.

Butchie's death was really sad too.

Stringer Bell grows afraid that D'Angelo may inform on the organization, knowing how close he had previously been...

The family continue to believe it was a suicide until Stringer finally tells Avon towards the end of Season 3.

    1. butchie - they didn't have to do dude like that. they could have done it nice and quick and the message would have been sent. butchie was a g tho'

    2. d'angelo - i was hoping he would bring his family down but like joe, his loyalty ended up costing his life. he could have been somebody...sad.

D'Angelo's was pretty sad mainly because the dude was not a bad guy at all, just born into the wrong family.

Second would be Bodie for the same reasons as Styles P. Dude went out hardcore though, "Yo this my corner i ain't running no where!"

I was originally sad/pissed about Omar's death, but you gotta admit he had it coming.

Knew what it was before I read a word of the thread. I felt very sad for Wallace.

Brother Mouzone was so much harder than Omar. Cold blooded killer.

Dookie. He may not have died but he might as well have. Dookie and bubs actually made me feel bad for crack heads.

D'angelo because he actually had somewhat of a conscience.

Wallace - First time I saw that scene with pleading for an explanation my eyes got a bit glazed :/

My favorite death was Stringer. F'n asshole for killing Dee.
