this shows u never watch soccer. check out ronaldo's tricks. inhuman. and the skill to cross the ball and curve and dip it is extremely hard although it seems easy on tv.
As much as I might agree with everything you've said thus far in this thread, this is by far your worst post. Who cares what 'cool ****' you can do. That doesn't mean anything in any sport. For example, in Basketball, just because you can dunk, doesn't mean you can play. Your relying on stupid things now to prove a point which has pretty much already been proven.
That's not my point...that post is directed towards american football, not basketball.
My point is that you can do cool, jaw-dropping tricks that you dont see in american football.
ive played probably every sport possible including rugby.....tennis and so on....my brother in law plays soccer and i played a game with him and his buddies the other day and its by far the hardest sport ive ever played....you have to be in ridiculous shape to play well.
so yes soccer players are most def. world class athletes
They then went on to say if a guy like Isiah Thomas or Reggie Bush or D-Wade grew up playing soccer he they would be the best in the world by far....I totally disagreed..
not true..... you guys obviously have no idea about soccer
First off, I agree that soccer players - at least world class ones - are indeed world class athletes.
BUT, you guys act like soccer players run full speed up and down the field for the full 90 minutes. Soccer, just like football or basketball or whatever, offers some breathing time. Whether there's a penalty kick or a corner kick or a throw in or a red card or an injured player or whatever, soccer players have plenty of breathers during the game.
That said, they still have to be in GREAT condition to run as much as they do. And most of them have great endurance, very strong legs, solid necks and great body control/coordination.
And if I had to guess about a most physically exhausting sport, outside of marathon running (where they literally run for 2-3 hours straight, no breaks), I'd guess that something like water polo is probably the most difficult. I dunno how long those matches are, but you can't even touch the bottom and have to constantly move all matchup. But maybe that's just b/c my swimming endurance SUCKS and I get completely exhausted after swimming continuously for more than a min or two.
