The guy was the best since ca. 2008 till the last year. Its 5-6 years of pure dominance individualy. Only Jordan lasted longer as a no.1 in the league. Nobody else.

And its questionable if there is one better player right now. The guy is just obviously coasting, just like early in the first season with the Heat.

If he plays like this come playoff time, and performs below average and loses before the finals I would say he is not the best anymore. But till that happens he stays no 1 clearly for me. The season is too long. About 65 games to be played.

I except him to finish the regular season with 26.5ppg on 50%+FG and 8/7 with the best record on the east and pick up that 5th MVP.

You can make a case for Lebron being the best since 08, but Kobe won the MVP that year for a reason.

He's been objectively the best player since 2009 though. It only started to become close last year.
