Greatest individual season of all time (expanded edition)
it could be the same horse
I also considered 85-86 Larry Bird, 02-03 Duncan, and 15-16 Curry.

I dont know the stats but how did he play in the finals?I remember him struggling in one particular series against LA with two 8 point games but I think it may have been 84.

That should be up there, in that case. And that was in the middle of his run with 3 consecutive mvps (when he was getting plenty of plaudits and people were debating whether he was the greatest player ever.)
In my opinion, Hakeem in 94 was sensational. And Jordan in 88 was equally so. But because there seems to be a focus on playoffs here, we unfortunately discard seasons that were even better than the ones in the poll, imo.

Damn those are some godly stats. Peak Bird in the middle of his MVP 3peat

NBA lottery pick
Re: Greatest individual season of all time (expanded edition)
^Insane peak Bird had.
Even if the award is for best INDIVIDUAL seasomn of all time, a requirement for me, would be finishing the season with a FMVP.
So 91-92 MJ, or 92-93 MJ

He had a bad wrist in the 93 playoffs and that's the only thing that makes me wary of selecting that version. In 1992, he was sensational.
