    Can I play the new one next year, or will I be lost?

    Everyone will be lost, even if you've played the other games. MGS games are mind f[COLOR="Black"]u[/COLOR]cks.

    You should probably play Ground Zeroes though. It's a prequel to The Phantom Pain.
