Does lebron regret the decision?
Why did he get away with that superteam? Not only teaming up with third best sg ever , but weakening the Eastern Conference completly by eliminating toronto and cleveland before they even began, to give you an example? Promising 8 titles, everyone acting like he didn't spit on the game basketball, the competitive players and coaches and lifelong fans of the purity of sports. Maybe the media expected him to win those 8 rings so they were happy to ride him?
All because he couldn't win 1.
Now he's in year 18, never got injured, superteams, bron system, ball hogging, trading teammates, firing coaches, leaving teams, weaknesses, losing finals, media power, eastern conference etc..
.. Kobe was 5/7 in a 10 year span out West, zero weaknesses. Lebron still can't tie him? Or "kObE hAd ShAq AnD fIsHeR"?

Lebron is a 4x NBA MVP, 4x finals mvp. He has a better career than Kobe who's not even a top 10 player of all time. Kobe was lucky he played with Shaq and being coached by Phil Jackson.

Embiid > Jokic
Re: Does lebron regret the decision?
LeBron surpassed Kobe years ago

Re: Does lebron regret the decision?
I will say the funniest criticism I hear about the decision is that he eliminated Toronto from competition. The same Toronto team that missed the playoffs, in the weak east mind you, in '09 & '10, had less wins than the Bobcats over those two seasons, and in Bosh's 7 years had more lottery seasons than playoff wins. Fcking juggernaut right there

Kobe was on his way to Chicago after Shaq got traded to Miami. If they did not bring him Gasol, Artest no way he wins 2009-2010.

Re: Does lebron regret the decision?
Give it a rest.
The decision was certainly a bad look for Lebron.
But Lebron is still way better than Kobe.
And I'm pretty sure I've been a Laker fan longer than you.

Re: Does lebron regret the decision?
if lebron was smart he would have avoided the 2007 finals to keep his perfect finals record. similar to Kobe, Lebron would have been better off getting backdoor swept by the 07 Wizards in the 1st round

Wow. What a boring way to bring up a topic that got boring 7 years ago.

Hakeem won an nba championship with Vernon Maxwell as his 2nd option in 1994.

Re: Does lebron regret the decision?
If he could do it all over again he wouldn't do it. It made things more difficult in the long run.
I think it was more fun for the league and fans though. Harder but more fun.
