Laughable. Gasol was easily better in his prime because he was twice the defender Love is...

And Gasol didn't shoot threes yet, but his post-up game and efficiency was so superior to Love, it's not even a debate...

Please take a look at Love's poor efficiency in his Minnesota days when he didn't shoot threes yet... he couldn't even sniff Gasol's efficiency as a big man...

Love was never a better player than Gasol in his prime. Period.

You can say 26 and 12 all you want... had Gasol started shooting threes earlier, he easily would have achieved the same stats in a season...

And unlike Love, Gasol actually showed up when it mattered...

Love in 2011, 2012 and 2014 are his 3 most efficient seasons. What u smoking

when Love didnt shoot 3s yet? he took 6 attempts a game his last 3 years with Minny

u have no idea what u talkin bout

Love was a superior shooter, floor spacer, rebounder and passer/playmaker

Pau wasnt a much better defender either. On those Memphis teams it teams Shane Battier, Jones and Wright anchoring the D. In LA it was Odom, Kobe, and either Ron or Ariza. Pau could only block shots, he wasnt an intimidating presence, garbage pickandroll and perimeter defender, slow as molasses , statistically Love has been an above average defender since 2014 and is actually a better post defender than Pau was

1. I meant his first 3 seasons where he only attempted 3 three-pointers max...

2. Yes, he was a better outside shooter/floor spacer, but how was he a better passer than Gasol? Look at the stats, it's simply not true. But you should know that by watching Gasol's game back in the day.

3. Please, you are underestimating Love's ineptitude on defense, and how the fukk was Love a better post defender?

this literally shouldn't even be a discussion. Current Cavs are more talented and it's not even close.

Gasol has better supporting cast than LeBron.
Gasol has - Kobe, Odom, Ariza, Artest and a better coach
LeBron has - Kyrie and Love

The cavs definitely do. Irving alone is as impactful as gasol. Not a big gap but the cavs have the edge.

LeBron has the better supporting cast than Kobe's Championship team. His teammates can't shoot the ball. Every team LeBron has been on has more that 2 guys who can shoot the ball.

Cavs.

Also, LeBron can't play with post up players. Where you dump the ball down, and work off them.

He has to monopolize the offense. All the time. And forces any, and all tomthe perimeter to be spot up shooters. Miami won rings because Wade forced himself to learn some post up game, and play off the ball.

Relative to other top tier teams, I feel like Lakers. Warriors have a gap over Cavs while the Lakers might've been the most talented team in the league(a lot of that is due to Kobe ofc). Only could see Celtics being more talented overall but even if Celtics were best, the gap between Celtics and Lakers isnt nearly as big.
Agreed 100%
