    Hey, "MagicMan",

    1981: WCF between Kansas City(5th) & Rockets(6th), two 41-41 Teams..
1984: WCF between the Lakers and the 41-41 Rockets
1987: WCF between the Lakers and the 39-43 Sonics...

The #3 seed in the West in 1987 won 49 games, 44 games were enough to get HCA in the first round with the #4 seed.

Damn, some grueling competition on the way to the Finals there...

If this is not watered down and weak competition what is?

(Seattle did not have a single 50+ game winning season from 1983 until 1993. If 1987 were an anomaly for an otherwise very good team that would be something else but clearly that team was simply mediocre.)

Lakers once played 37, 42, and 39 win teams to make the finals. They did it as a 65 win team with 3 hall of famers starting(2 of them still in their primes) and their 3rd through 5th best players being 17-20ppg Byron Scott, soon to be all star Ac Green, and that seasons DPOY Michael Cooper. They had Pat Riley as coach. A 3 game first round. And this team was just poetry in motion....they once took a 36 point first quarter lead that season:

The west should have forfeit to the Lakers about half of that decade.

Why do you think Bran chimed in on the Mr. Unreliable headline? Talking about free agency. He wants KD to take the same route to collusion and not be a Jordan or Bird or Isaiah, back when that wasn't even thought of.

Didn't you guys hear? Nets are 4-0 against the Heat. They should be able to sweep the Heat.
