Default 11-12 OKC Thunder Most Stacked All-Time?

    Westbrook
    Harden
    Durant
    Ibaka

Was this the most stacked team in NBA history?

3 players eventually becoming top 2 at their position, 4 players in top 5.

    Deuxrant: #2 SF
    Goatbrook: #2 PG
    The Beard: #1 SG
    Ibaka: #5 PF

Ibaka and Harden were fringe role players that year. They didn't develop into what they are today, yet.

Or are you going to try to say that KG, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Shaq, and Jermaine O'Neal is the most stacked team of all time, right? Number one or two PF, Number One Center, top five center, top two SF, and top 5 SG. Too good.

No, you can only look at the future or present, not the past. When those 5 were together, they weren't in their primes.

Fact: OKC could have all 4 players in their primes right now.

    Agenda thread detected.

And yes, the Harden trade is one of the worst trades of all time. But it happened because Clay Bennett is a miserly thief, so it is what it is.

PS - In response to the OP, NO!

    No agenda. Just fact discovery.

Was thinking about OKC without Durant and Goatbrook earlier and then realized how stacked they were. If OKC had Harden right now, they could still put out a lineup without D-Leaguers in rotation

We will get to see exactly how "#5" best PF in the league will do on his own. But odds are he won't play as #5, more like #25 while Perry Jones III does his thing. Harden is #1 SG right now by default. He is no playoff performer.

Harden shots negative percentage and turn the ball over and over in the playoff I wouldn't call him the #1SG. esp 2011. JJ was better not to mention kobe and Wade was playing.

Don't be like Bill Simmons, dude narrates Thunder as cheap dumb FO team who lost a dynasty by trading Harden and he refuse to bring up how poorly Harden plays in the playoff just so his agenda is right.
