AD went from 33 wins and some top 10 votes to 70-win pace and Shaq/Bird comparisons
It's damn comical to see Anthony Davis remarks before and now after he started playing with King James. LeBron has already begun to greatly elevate another good, unutilized player into their peak potential for success and achievements. He has done this with many players. As an example just to name a few, he earned Mo Williams, yes, Mo Williams his one and only all-star bid. He drug Drew Gooden, Daniel Gibson, Donyell Marshall, and Sasha Pavlovic to the Finals. He extended Wade's career by earning him multiple Finals appearances and despite Wade's rapid decline even while playing a lesser role, collected 2 more rings for him. He took a team of G-league players into the thick of battle in the 2015 Finals (sans Love and Kyrie) matched up against a dynasty-in-the-making Warriors. Mozgov, Dellevedova, and Tristan Thompson showed flashes of "wow who is that?!" But we knew the truth behind their success next to James. In 2018 I remember people talking up George Hill and Rodney Hood as soon as they played with LeBron as well. And probably most telling is Kyrie Irving's bi-polar playoff outings. In one moment (2016 LeBron) he looks unstoppable and an all time great. In another moment (2019 Playoffs w/o LeBron) he looked awful. The LeBron Effect could very well end up being the single greatest skillset we have ever seen.

it's irrelevant that lebron elevated Mo, Tristan or Kyrie because he cratered many other guys
there's bound to be some guys that play well with him - that's standard for any star - but it's not standard for a star to ruin players, like lebron did Jamison, Hughes, Derrick Rose, Bosh, Love, Ingram and many more

Jamison was aging
Hughes got injured
Bosh and Love went from #1 to #2 or #3 options, what do you expect? Numbers will decline. Plus theh are champions because of LeBron (and how did they fare after LeBron)?
Ingram was rising/young and he is still on a 20 win pace this year, meaning no impact stat padder.
You cannot disregard the LeBron effect as it directly pertains all the players I mentioned bevause of a faulty agenda you tried to create.
LeBron earned Mozgov, TT, and Delly big contracts they really didn't deserve.
And hiw many times do you mention how amazing Kyrie was in the 2016 Finals? How dis he do as the #1 option last year?
Lastly, Davis won 33 games and was borderline top 10 in the league but this year people are saying DPOY, MVP, he will clearly win more than 33 this year, and some have started to compare him to Bird or Shaq?! The LeBron effect is powerful. The LeBron Effect could very well end up being the single greatest skillset we have ever seen.

They seem pretty successful this year.
I wonder what changed.

Got rid of most of their dead weight and replaced it with Danny Green, Avery Bradley and Anthony Davis.
