Use this topic for all questions, comments, suggestions about the great new insidehoops home! I love this forum. It's now "OURS" forever. The insidehoops family now "lives" right on insidehoops.

I will be on this forum virtually 24/7 for the next week, updating it, editing the features, fixing any problems, adding new forums, etc.


Entering a New Post

When I type, and I'm ready to submit a new post, I find it's quickest to use my left ring finger to tap the "TAB" key TWICE, then hitting ENTER with my right pinky. That's just me. Try it.


ABOUT AVATARS (pictures next to your username in each post you make)

If you want an avatar, search the internet and find a picture to use.

GETTING YOUR AVATAR UP AND RUNNING:

1) Search the web, find a picture (pictures get shrunk smaller, so don't use a giant one), and copy the DIRECT LINK to that image
2) On this forum, click "USER CP" on the upper left
3) Select "EDIT AVATAR" and click "CUSTOM AVATAR"
4) Paste the DIRECT URL to the picture you want to use on another website



About User Levels

There are a TON of user levels. You'll see :) But please remember, QUALITY OF POSTS matters the most. Quantity doesn't. So as you move up the ladder, from "scrub at the park" on up, please always HELP THE FORUM with GOOD DISCUSSION.


Everyone gets to keep their same name from the old board if they want.

To all of you: don't register anyone else's nicknames. Only register your own, or a new name that wasn't a regular nickname in the old board.

If someone takes your name, then go to the old board and USING YOUR MAIN NAME THERE, send a private message to InsideHoops (me) saying that someone took your name on this board, and then give me a TEMPORARY PASSWORD, and I will change that name here to the password you want.

Then come here, get the name, click "USER CP" and change the password to something else, and change all the info, and the name is yours.



New Icons/Emoticons/Etc. Coming Soon

Yes, the beloved pimp-hat kind of icons will be here, as soon as I figure out how to do it. It should just take a day or two.
