Embiid and Gobert are not even in the same league offensively. Embiid on the other hand can almost match Gobert in defensive impact. There is zero doubt about who is the better player. Embiid is top 3 player in the league with Durant and AD.

And yet he is among the top players in many offensive categories. He's not Tony Allen.

Both are great players. Hard to compare. Gobert's massive wingspan changes so many shots and deters others; it's hard to measure just how much impact he has (and doesn't show up in the box score); we know it's significant but hard to quantify. Embiid is an incredible talent. One thing is he's got to either improve the 3 pt shot or stop taking them. He's taking about 4 a game and shooting 30%.
