Atlanta (TV show) review/discussion

Just started this show, was recommended by a roommate and I was instantly interested when I saw it was Donald Glover's new project. Always been a huge fan, all the way back to his sketch comedy days with Derrick Comedy (if you haven't seen them go check them out now). Loved him in Community, and listen to his music every now and then.

Has amazing reviews so far and after watching the first episode I get it. Glover has definitely found his voice.

Anyone check it out yet? Thoughts?

I've got a backlog of stuff to watch already, and Ash vs Evil dead starts it's 2nd season soon so I won't be able to get to it any time soon, but it's definitely on my list.

He wrote some good eps of 30Rock, so my hopes are high.

Yep, big fan of glover since community(fan of abed also). On episode 2 and i seem to be enjoying it.

Good show so far. The acting is very good.

First episode was ok. Nothing special, and given it is Glover, I wish it were funnier. Still, I'd rather he be doing this than music.

Best new show. Very similar to Fargo, but about rappers in Atlanta instead of white folks in the midwest. Can't believe season 1 is already over.
