What Brand really needs is to join a contender and get into to the general public's conciousness; that is what has always been missing. Maybe Brand could even reinvent himself. For example, if he didn't have to score, and focused entirely on rebounding and defense, he could do the Dennis Rodman/Ben Wallace thing. Brand has more talent in his pinky than those two had.

You make a good point though. I can see Brand playing the same type of role Horace Grant had on the Bulls/Lakers though and that would definitely help his resume..
