He wasn't Finals MVP in any of his series against LeBron

simply breaking it down and comparing it to the other top 30 players of all time (33%) and 30 finals they made is silly. there have been thousands of nba players since the league was created. when we create all time lists, we compare said players to not just their peers and guys with similar numbers, but all players from previous eras.
you misspelled your. please correct that, ok?
Edited the post. I'd appreciate you unquoting me so nobody notices the mishap.
I'm glad we're in agreement. Top 5 season, top 10-15 Finals. Production, as per, goes down on the toughest stage, against teams from the infinitely better conference. But he made up for that with his performances against his Eastern foes.

but, i never agreed with you. i believe lebron's season, when we include everything in my OP, is at least top 3 and probably the greatest in the modern era.
where just his finals rate, im not sure. but that isnt what this thread is about.

It does matter, you claimed Duncan kicked LeBron's ass, yet LeBron's won more Finals MVP's in the series they've played against each other

It is what it is
Re: '12 LeBron James - The Greatest Season of All Time?
LeBron's '12 season is one of the greatest, not the greatest. Other legends have comparable seasons to LBJ's '12 campaign. Gotta give credit where credit is due, after Bron's dismal '11 Finals, the cat came back with a vengeance.

Wade was amazing from 03-10 Great in 2011 Pretty good in 2012
Bosh was great 03-10 Good in 11-12
Just not Kobe

Greatest
Re: '12 LeBron James - The Greatest Season of All Time?
It was a great individual season (especially considering the circumstances) and top 3 since MJ retired, along with Shaq 00 and Duncan 03 in some order. MJ's 91-93 were greater though, as was Hakeem 94-95. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Very good NBA starter
Re: '12 LeBron James - The Greatest Season of All Time?
I would have one or two of Shaq's years ahead of it.
I also like to look at a period of at least 2 years when talking about peaks, so as to get rid of isolated hot streaks...like Dirk's playoffs in 2011. And so 2000-2002 Shaq would beat 2011-2013 (or 2012-2014) Lebron.

Yea SHAQ cuz of the rest of his team. 2000 Shaq is mad underrated and the team was not a playoff team without him.
