What about KG? How many of the three do you think win it all if Cassell doesn't have to sit out because of his back in 04?

I'm saying, since you were swapping rosters, you should include KG in the mix.

Also, so you think any of the three win in 04 with a healthy Cassell?

in 04 is lakers vs pistons...doesnt matter any swapping .

KG is winning shit unless he has 3 other hall of famers in his team...

How about Elton Brand? Al Jefferson?
The hypotheticals are endless, but that's why they are so similar - they did not happen

Hypotheticals are fun to speculate, but the only way to prove them is to enter a parallel dimension and record their exploits, and return with said evidence.

Otherwise, such speculation only expose ignorance and prejudices. Even from legitimate historians. Fictional questions are as old as the hills. There's nothing essentially fallacious about fictional constructs, as long we undrestand they are not empirical issues. They can be useful like metaphors and analogies, but they can never prove anything, and least of all the empirical method.

Any historical evidence that might have happened if Duncan played for the Dallas Mavericks or Dirk Nowitzki for the San Antonio Spurs is already taken from the world in which Duncan did play for the Spurs and Dirk for the Mavericks. There's no way around it.

    Keep up the troll job.

Tim Duncan has anchored some top defensive teams. Dirk wouldnt be able to win unless you also got him a rim protector.

Both have the biggest chokes of the last decade

    Dirk: 2006 finals choke
2007 lost in the first round as 1st seed

    Duncan: 2004 choke
2011 bounced out of 1st round as 1st seed
    2012 back door swept
2013 back to back game 6 and game 7 choke

Damn notice how both lost to the 8th seed as the #1 team

none of them compare to 2011, where prime LeBron got outplayed by jason Terry. and neither lost finals mvp to the guy| they were supposed to be guarding. and neither have lost more finals than theyve won. and neither played for the goat coach and executive.

Dirk/KG > Duncan in terms of pure basketball skills if you discount accolades.

Duncan > Dirk/KG only in accolades.
