Current Wizards jerseys look much better and teams probably want to distance themselves from other periods within their franchise so you won't be seeing Iverson era sixer jerseys any time soon.

They should just bring back the old jerseys, for me Orlandos 90's shaq/penny era jerseys are their best and they should wear it every game. Same with the ones you mentioned, most teams had great jerseys around that time or the mid to late 80s.

To be fair to the NBA we need to remember that a big part of their jersey design is probably being marketed towards children to try and increase revenue.
