How good was Brad Daugherty?
Was looking at some NBA comparisons for Jahlil Okafor(likely Lakers #2 pick) and Brad Daugherty was a name that was frequently mentioned. So for those who saw Daugherty play live, how good was he?

Very good post moves. Soft touch from inside 10. What kept him being a top tier center in his time was his defense. He had everything else.
He'd be the best center in the NBA if he played in this era.

Very solid, but a bit soft.

Very gifted and skilled offensive player. In an era of great centers, he might have been the most well rounded offensive 5 in the league. Inside-out offensive game, great passer and very good rebounder.
He was not a great defensive player and injuries derailed his career. But, he was one of the best centers in the league in his prime.

What could've been. Retired at the young age of 28 because of back issues. Useless fact about him. He picked #43 to wear in honor of NASCAR driver Richard Petty which he contributed to being his favorite sportsman.

Great player.
I remember the last time the Cavs had a little run with Price/Nance/Daugherty.
Okafor reminds me nothing of Daugherty. Brad was a little quicker and much more fluid.

He was a great center. Overlooked because of Hakeem/Ewing/DRob/Shaq.
On the 2nd tier with Mourning, Mutombo, Smits, Seikaly, etc. Wow, the center position was stacked!

Ewing was 2nd tier in my mind. He just had a lot more hype.

Uh no. At least not in the late 80's/early 90's. He was a beast. Then injuries limited him.

Those 3 guys I named, Price, Nance and Daugherty are more loved in Cleveland than Lebron.

Very well put.
Also, really liked to watch him play, because he was a very fluid 7 footer with lots of moves in the post (even an outside game) and one of the best passing centers ever.
Those Cavs were very good and underrated.

Yeah they were, if the MJ Bulls never existed, they would've won at least one NBA title.
BD was very good, injuries killed his career.
