Not crazy at all and it's actually true. It's like Brett Favre having the record for most interceptions. You have to be really good for a really long time hold those "dubious" records. Only an all time great player would even have the opportunity to miss the most shots / throw the most intercepions.

You didn't bold the word "BRONZE" this time. That's weird.
As for OP... yeah, we get it. Kobe chucked a lot of shots. No one cares anymore.
And as for those of you saying Kobe is GOAT... if you're not trolling, you're just dumb. I'm pretty sure I know who is which.

True shooting percentage is a much better indicator than raw FG%.
Get with the times.
Kobe's alpha and efficient.

This is not a knock on Kobe....
Kobe is probably the best player of all time.
I've been watching a lot of Kobe stuff these past view days and my mind is changed on him.
He's probably the best ever
I have him 3rd behind Jordan and Kareem.

Ahead of Russell, Wilt, Magic, Bird, Shaq, and Duncan, eh? Only semi-delusional. I don't think you're trolling though.

Uh, even an unbiased person would put him ahead of Duncan and Shaq most of the time.

Then he should have passed.

Yes, ahead of all those guys.
And for good reason.

And what would that be, he either trails or is equal to all of them in MVP's and Finals MVP's, and yes, that includes Wilt, who would have won Finals MVP in '67 had the award been given out then, giving them two each.

Is that right? Where did he rank on the ISH poll just a few months ago?
Honestly, I can understand him above Duncan or Shaq. I disagree, but I can understand it. Same goes for Wilt and Russell, or even Magic and Bird.
The problem is, his cases over all of those guys come from placing value on different things.
If you place disproportionate value on team success, then you'll naturally rank him ahead of Wilt and Bird. But then there's pretty much no way to rank him ahead of Russell. If you value peak production, then you'll probably rank him ahead of Magic and Russell... but he wouldn't even come close to Wilt or Shaq. See what I'm saying here?
I'd go Jordan, Wilt, Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Duncan, Russell, Bird, then Kobe. He's still above everyone else (including bran lol)

I agree, I'm not putting him over any of those guys and by the time Lebron is done, he may rank ahead of him all time also.....

Re: All time missed shot leader
Kobe Bryant led a championship team in Player Efficiency Rating (true measure of player skill and contribution to winning) exactly 1 out of 5 times.
Just something to think about to those who thinks 'Kobe ball' results in winning
