Re: Ariza > Parsons
Like Jalen Rose said, signing Ariza was probably the most under-the-radar signing in the offseason. He's one of the best at knocking down the 3 from the corner and plays excellent defense. Perfect fit for Houston.

Re: Ariza > Parsons
Trevor has transformed our team defense instantly just by his leadership. Watching us on defense this season compared to last season is like night and day.he is also probably one of the top 5 three point shooters in the league. Once he gets his eye in, it is money. He has brought a lot and costs 5 million less then Parsons for equal offensive and light years better defensive production.

No.
Parsons is better offensively and as the season progresses, that will be evident.

Yes. He is a better shooter and much more effecient. He doesn't force it on offense like parsons, he knows his spots, moves amazingly well off the ball and the ball movement and the offensive rhythm is better. Parsons last season needed the ball to be effective which stagnated the offense and both hardens and Howard's rhythm. Trevor is a terrific slasher off the ball and he makes great flex cuts which usually results in a pass to him cutting to the basket by Howard or jones.
Trevor is not just a stat guy, he fits on and off the ball which equates to more effecient team ball. As for his stats, they are close to parsons at a more effecient clip. Trevor is a underrated passer and rebounder to.

For their careers...
Parsons 47.3%, 37.2 3pt%, 71ft%.
Ariza - 43.5%, 35.1 3pt%, 69ft%.
Check the facts before you make yourself a liar.

Trevor has improved his shot in the last few years. Who is shooting better in the last two years. Trevor admitted he had to work on his shot. Right now Trevor is a better three point shooter and even parsons would admit that. Parsons is probably little better off the dribble with the Mid-range pull-up

ariza's stats are skewed because he was alot worse as a first option. parsons never had that pressure or the focus of defenses

His first stint in Houston, leaving LA after a great playoff series.
Morey thought he might have had first option potential. Didn't work out.
