Default Duncan, LeBron, Wade, Kobe, Durant

Imagine they are all aged 18-19 and you have to pick 1 of them to lead your team.

You dont know who your coach is, or who else is on your team, but you have to pick one of them as your franchise player for the next decade and a half.

    Who do you pick?

Duncan or Kobe. Duncan has the size plus all the other stuff. Kobe has the biggest balls plus all the other stuff.

Duncan first then Lebron...Durant may get ahead of Kobe due to size and ability of a scorer. Wade is def last picked to me in this group

The only ones I would pick today over Lebron James are Michael Jordan and Shaquille Oneal.

Duncan comes close, but, Lebrun is Lebrun

Lebron and its not so close.
Give him a team with 11 random players and you have a place in conference finals or finals for sure. Give him an all star 2nd option and you have multiple championships. The guy was basically a one man team.

Duncan is a close second, but Im not sure how would he play in some other system and under some other coach.

Wade because he can take over games on both sides while still creating for his teammates. Lebron a very close second.

So Lebron on the Bucks would make them a conference finals team?

    That's ridiculous dude.

If we have knowledge of these players coming in as they were rookies then I'd probably choose Duncan.

    LeBron
    Duncan
    Kobe
Durant or Wade--Can't decide. Wade has the better peak (for now) but Durant will probably end with far, far better longevity/durability.
