Yea. I think people have this image that torn/tear means fully separated .

I tore all the ligaments in my left ankle when I was 15 and never had surgery but I did have to do a ton of physical therapy and rehab to get the strength back and it still is so weak now and I'm 23. When ligaments tear, they never fully heal back on their own. Broken bones on the other hand generally heal back much stronger in the spot where the break was.

I remember seeing this play happen in the game. He looked to hit it on the backboard then land on it hard too.

wrist ligaments can easily mean injuring a ligament that controls your fingers..

basically = not bieng able to move fingers 100% on your shooting hand.

Damn that's crazy... sorry to hear dude. Will be interesting to see how Kobe rebounds, especially because it's on his shooting hand and we know he likes to shoot a lot .

Kobe and his fingers again. Is this the way of God flipping the Lakers off?

    Hope it isn't serious.

Well it seems as though Stern's trade veto has swayed the curse in the Lakers favor. This is going to be a ridiculous season.

At least you will get someone good in the lottery or you can trade the pick.
