why wouldn't he be in the rotation? he is the only good wing defender they have. wes is good at playing 4 off the bench, he plays pretty good defense at that position and stretches the floor a little bit. it's tough because both wes and pierce are better playing 4 than 3 but there are so few minutes there when blake is healthy.
Wes is the prototypical 3, he seldom plays the 4. But maybe Doc just wants the starting 3 to D up givem the offensive firepower of the starters. But Wes has the higher ceiling. It's just a shame the guy lacks bball IQ because size wise and athleticism wise, there isn't much separating him from a guy like Pippen. He should've been a great player.

Luc Richard will be starting in the playoffs. He will be KEY in matching up against either OKC and San Antonio because of his ability to guard KD and Kawhi.
His lack of shooting does hurt the offense a tad, but his defense tips the scale.
