    See for yourself, many examples, start with Duncan, look at the series stats & preferably also play by play if avaliable, then continue to next seasons.... http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/SAS/1998.html

    some 15 ppg, 16 ppg, 17 ppg, 18 ppg series.... lots of bad shooting series... lots of turnover series... lots of series where he couldnt deliver when it mattered and got bailed out by David but mostly Parker & Ginobili instead (not Kerr/Allen/Paxson bailed out, but outperformed).....

    Im sure you will find whatever you consider is "playing bad" by their standards.... i will help you out locate those "bad series" by their standards if you are to lazy...

    duncan averaged 21 and 20 in those series.

    show me some 15 ppg, 16 ppg series in his prime. i'll wait.

    15-16 or 17-18 is not a notable dropoff or that bad by Duncans standards anyways....... he was no Jordan scorer....

    duncan and shaq didn't have a bad series in their primes.

    duncan didn't score 15 ppg. please show me some exact series where he was bad and he got bailed out by david or whoever i will wait.
