The Max Salary In The NBA Should Be 1 million dollars
Seriously, who needs more than 1 million dollars a year. The rest of their salaries which would easily combine to 1 billion dollars could be used to fund schools, give people free health care, etc.

Positional Good Theory; an object is given a value when it is possessed by some but not others.
If you took away the hundreds of millions of dollars these overpaid pricks make, they wouldn't know what it means to be that far above all the social classes. Instead, each year they make more, further separating themselves from the vast majority.
You gotta ask yourselves; at what point do these guys have ENOUGH money?

In the UK anyone earning over 200,000 dollars per year gets taxed 45 percent of their earnings which will go towards funding healthcare, schools etc... not sure of tax laws in America.

Even if they got taxed that much... they're still making a ton of money. I wouldn't doubt for a second they've got offshore accounts or using some kind of loophole. Remember the Panama Papers (funny how quickly that was forgotten).

You could likely live on less money. Now go give your cash to the homeless, so they can sniff krylon and diddle their balls and live off your cash. Always easier to spend another man's money.

The players get paid what they are worth.
They negotiated the terms in the CBA and the owners agreed to it.

As long people will buy their $200 shoes and $1000 ticket prices, they'll keep making that bank.

Well thats just deteriorating to the concepts of Capitalism. A better solution would just be to pay other people more.
You know like the Doctors who Slave away at school half their lives. Then those who make it out as Doctors during their residency go through 4 Years of Sleep deprived hell with shitty salary. Then once they're finally practicing They're 400k in debt from College and Med School. The ones who save lives should be making more.
Teachers: You know the ones that spend their lives teaching ungrateful children. The ones that inspire and set examples but live their whole lives taking shit pay.
I have no problem with Athletes or celebrities making more money. It's how free market economy works. But, I would prefer if people with jobs that matter that are government employed make more money.
Also I wouldn't mind paying 50% Tax if it means that I have free education at every level.
