it was different, scrub. if you can't appreciate that, then well... you're just young and naive.

Yes I appreciate it, like I appreciate watching the amateurs... just funny how archaic it looks compared to todays game, it wasn't that long ago in reality.

to each their own, man. there were some great players, great teams, rivalries and games had back in the day. just because the three point shot wasn't utilized like it is now and the paint was sacred doesn't mean that it's amateur.

Damn, this is what I imagine Westbrook doing in the 80s but on a nightly basis. Grabbing rebounds and going coast to coast for monstrous dunks. Never even heard of this guy before, but looks like he had major hops.

I compared the two in the topic I made when I made that.
He wasn't really a star...but he had a very modern game.

Nice. You could tell he was feeling it that night. Griffith was one of the better leapers evers.
But head to head, MJ destroyed him, averaging 20 more ppg (36 ppg vs 16 ppg) in their 12 meetings. MJ might've been a tad shook in that one as a fresh rookie after seeing how confident he saw Griffith was. MJ is human folks.
