That's crap. Matthews gets a lot of open looks from Lillard. I know Lillard has been brutal lately, but Wes has also struggled, and not from a lack of opportunities.

That was a funny post. Sure. Wes Mathews is their best player. Sure. Sad that people don't watch how teams defend another team and it's players. There are reasons that teams and players get defended the way they do, and that's the truest indicator of talent. More than stats or percentages.

Blazers should trade Mathews and batum and picks for Carmelo. Lillard/Aldridge/Carmelo would be pretty special

What a loyal fan you are!

NE wayz, no Robin Lopez is def hurting them. And Lillard & Batum have both been playing poorly.

    Not to mention Aldridges injury

I can't believe you guys are arguing who is better, Lillard or Matthews. BOTH are really good players, the problem is that they have no help from anybody but LMA. Replace Damien with Curry and this team would still struggle. You put to Beal or Waiters instead of Wes, this team would not go anywhere.

Lillard is cooling off greatly, Aldridge is playing through injury and Batum can't hit water falling off a damn boat in the middle of the Atlantic.

Losing Robin Lopez was painful, though, Kaman is doing a solid job in his place. Freeland was a pretty costly loss as well.

Portland has no Crawford, or Ginobli or Iggi or Udrih or Lee etc out there.
Sans Crawford, what bench do we exactly have?

Hawes has been injured and struggling. Turkoglu just got burn. Davis has been horrible. The guys that were waived/dealt were crap (Farmar/Douglas-Roberts/Cunningham) or didn't get enough time (Bullock). Rivers is Rivers.

Everytime our bench goes in, we take a 10 point lead into a 15 point deficit...in 3 minutes.

Is it really that hard to figure out?

    Rolo - out.
    Freeland - out.
    Batum - injured.
    Lamarcus - injured.

Who knows who else is carrying something. When you have these kinds of injuries a little slump gets magnified tremendously because you have very little room for error.

so why the heck are they taking forever in getting help?
OKC, got Waiters for nothing. Memphis traded their old and ineffective player for a really good SF, Houston got Brewer for nothing etc etc Portland has.....

Crawford's 16 pts is better than the 4 bench players of Portland but you are right, they can use another reliable reserve I bet Rivers would do everything he can to get somebody unlike Portland.

We're pretty restricted with cap space. Paying a useless Batum 11mil.

I thought Griz and Clips were capped out too, can't you packaged any of your bench guys for guys like Wilson Chandler and/or Randy Foye? include a 2nd rounder perhaps?

Chandler would have been nice. Not sure what happened to those rumors. That being said I like watching him play here so I'm not too fussed

Such a bummer, this season was looking so good until all the injuries took over.
