    I missed that..

Does he believe Lebron kidnapped the media and held them so long they grew attached?

for a 3-year stretch... but that's about it... he may never get another championship - there is solid possibility of that.

other players will come up and eclipse him shortly - in the end, his run will be looked at the same way the Pistons was... good but short.

    and the foreseeable future.
durant will pass him next year at the latest, Davis probably already has passed him and more will follow.

lebron's run at the top was short and sweet.... last year, the spurs ended it though, along with his career as we knew it.

If you polled the coaches...the gms...the players. Lebron would come out on top probably 80-90% of the time. It would only tilt any other way in the middle of another elite players hot streaks. But the extreme vast majority of the time hes gonna be the best for at least the last 5 years, this offseason, now, and the foreseeable future. The generally accepted opinion doesnt need explaining.

Opinions that have most of the basketball world being wrong....that is the kind of thing you explain.

Nobody needs to explain why the most widespread opinion is what it is. Its a waste of time. You see the same thing everyone else does...and come to a different conclusion. Thats fine. Everyone has that right.

But you listen to the likes of Pop, Larry Brown, Pat riley, Hubie Brown, Larry bird, Oscar Robertson, and Jerry West types...guys just dripping in basketball credibility? They say about the same things as the dreaded media and websites.

Think what you wish. But when it isnt what most people think...you are the one who needs to explain not the rest of the world.

You have made some version of this topic many times. "Why do people keep saying Lebron is the best?".....as if you really care.

If he isnt...explain why. Thats a topic. A boring played out one.....but a reasonable topic.

You dont need to keep remaking topics asking a question you wont accept any answer to.
Pretty much this. The greatest mind in basketball (Popovich) said LeBron is the best player on the planet last year, and I'm supposed to think otherwise because a KD fan with a mental disorder on an internet forum thinks otherwise?

Yup. Anyone who doesn't think that Kawhi Leonard outplayed LeBron in the finals is a complete moron.

Watch how well LeBron did whenever Kawhi was guarding him and vice versa. Those garbage time moments where LeBron statpadded a bunch with Kawhi sitting on the bench don't mean shit.

And yeah, I'm not going to fault him for trying, but on the same topic... the guy sit out the final what, 8 to 9 minutes of their elimination game?

KD and Lebron weren't that far apart aside from KD's 2-3 more fga/game. But if you look at this year, Anthony Davis is the clear cut best player in the game. Sure it's only 10 games but he's better than anyone from last year.

Yeah, more free throws, paired with more shots, more scoring, better percentages from 3 and the FT line, way less turnovers on passes, better defense, and better rebounding.

Everyone refers to LeBron as best player.

Worldwide media, from in game commentors, announcers, newspapers, sport outlets such as ESPN, Sports Illustrated, etc... it's the consensus.

    Kblaze presented it well, too.

Scott Brooks even referred to Durant as "One of the best players in the league". Even KD's own coach isn't comfortable calling the reigning MVP the best player

Don't forget the idiotic and irrelevant ramblings of Kobetards.

Off topic - Current LeBron > Peak Kobe and it's not even close.

LeBron leading the Cavs to that 5th seed with Irving and Love's stats going down

Do you think they rather be in the situation of never playing a playoff game? You're so ****ing dumb dude, it's hilarious.

Same dumb argument with Bosh. The dude's stats were great in Toronto, and he was never a threat in the playoffs, unless 3 total playoff wins in 7 years means something to you.

Actually, the entire teams stats are up outside of Love... and Love's win% is up
