So the Nets lose this game in the third quarter yet again. If they won every third quarter thus far the'd be 8-2 right now.

Two things..
-PP and KG need to be benched
-Everyone other than Lopez, AK and Livingston need to be shopped.
This team is pathetic defensively without Lopez.

I don't understand people being surprised KG and PP are not as effective. They are old. They can still be very effective in spurts but when they have little injuries, they are in trouble, and if they play a lot of minutes, they are in trouble. Age is age.
Don't the nets play at too fast a pace? They were jacking up shots, moving up and down like crazy early on. It's not surprising Portland looked fresher at the end.

It's just so frustrating how the Nets are 3-7 just because of one dreadful quarter, the third quarter. They constantly get outscored by double digits in that one quarter alone every single game. They are 0-7 when getting outscored in the third quarter and that's because the disparity is so damn large that the Nets dig themselves a hole that they are too shitty to climb out of.

The thing is PP and KG were supposed to be sidekicks. But they are getting the offensive and defensive load. It's not gonna work that way.

The nets have closed their locker room off to the media. no media allowed in and were even asked to back away so that nobody from outside can hear what's going on inside. so sad how only one quarter is doing this to us.

This right here is due to coaching. I predict that patience with Jason Kidd will pay big dividends.
Not only is he learning his way as a head coach, he's got some of the biggest egos in the world on that team - not in any bad way, very healthy egos, but huge ones nonetheless.
I suspect if they played this game in February it would be handled very differently.

so we're going to give him crap about his team playing bad in the third quarter and no compliments when he gets them to play good in quarters 1, 2 and 4? doesn't make sense. this is not a kidd problem. nets have been bad in third quarters ever since last season.

PP AND KG are similar signings to heat getting ray allen.
You cant expect much from them, a bench production..and key moments.
It all comes down to brook lopez and deron williams. And frankly, i dont put them in leagues of melo, lebron, durant , paul..
