Because he's a white guy, he probably made good investments, and he's probably got a fortune saved up.

MDA is carrying Nash now.
As washed up T mac he would be more productive than Nash.

Re: Should Steve Nash Retire?
He's one of my favorite players of all-time, so I'd hate to see him retire, but it seems like it'd be best for him & the team. He can still get the money owed to him by having a forced medical retirement... Or at least that's what I THINK I heard on the Max & Marcellus Show on ESPN LA.

Re: Should Steve Nash Retire?
I'd like to see Steve retire on his own terms, but at this point I don't know if that's going to happen. His body just won't respond to treatment. Damn shame.

Re: Should Steve Nash Retire?
I think with his bball skill set he should give his body one more really thorough chance to fully recover from the nerve issues. I know he doesn't want to go out this way. That might mean just don't play until after the all star break. If the team is anywhere near playoff position at that point and he's feeling better, try to come back.
Another option would be to get traded to a contender. Or go back to the Suns to retire. But just retiring as an injured Laker, that doesn't seem right.

Re: Should Steve Nash Retire?
Nash should ask to be waived then have the spurs pick him up so he can coat tail ride to a title in 2014.
With the role Tmac had with the spurs last year, I cannot see Nash turning down that role of 12th man.

Re: Should Steve Nash Retire?
maybe the Warriors should offer nedo for nash. Wouldn't hurt to have a back up for curry, although douglas has been good. Also warrios should try to sign faried.

Re: Should Steve Nash Retire?
Depends on if he shows any improvement later on. Its still early, but he has been terrible so far. He probably should retire.
