Bird played only 31 minutes in this game and missed only two shots, one tough three pointer and one free throw.

Larry scored 31 points in the first half alone, shooting 12/12 in 24 minutes of basketball poetry. The rest of the Celtics didn't miss much in the first half, either, as they raced to an 80-69 lead. Boston hit 32 of 40 attempts before halftime for a blistering 80% from the field.
