I don't watch either outside of a few YouTube clips but Shannon Sharpe seems to be the most intelligible out of the group.
Molly is hotter than the Undisputed chick though...

I like Shannon Sharpe. He carries himself like a professional for the most part. Not all extra'd out like Stephen A. Smith does from time to time.

If you want great debates on football... Undisputed has Sharpe, and along with him, you get Ray Lewis, and other HOF guys that will talk.

NBA, First take is better because as loud as SAS is, he knows his basketball. Max Kellermann is better in NBA than NFL.

Fox is slowly trying to overtake First Take though. They certainly were strategic with making sure they guys for football. By next year I expect them to really take basketball viewership from First Take.

I personally like Undisputed better because I'm a Skip Bayless fan.

Steven smith knows nothing about basketball besides the usual rhetoric about "clutch genes and "wanting it more." There's a reason he looks confused whenever Kellerman mentions PER or winshares. Steven a Smith has no idea what those are.

First take is unbearable these days. SAS has pretty much always been a drooling retard when it comes to basketball, but the problem now is that with Skip gone his ego is 1000x worse. As dumb as Skip was dude has been around sports forever and is well known enough to where SAS' ego was somewhat in control.

Now with Max it's unwatchable. Literally every single segment consists of Max giving his honest, usually intelligent opinion, followed by SAS talking down to him like he's talking to a 5 year old, then spewing out his credentials or how he texts Melo in the shower.

Pretty much this. The look on Max's face when he has to listen to this babbling bafoon says it all. He can't believe how dumb the guy across is. Not a single coherent sentence strung together. Instead, it's loud yelling and confused looked whenever advanced metrics are brought up.

    Undisputed is CRINGE.

    so boring

First take is 10 times better.

    Undisputed is pure trash.

Even skip knows Stephen a made him. He's soooooo bored and unenthused. Stephen a brought out the fire in skip and they would go back and forth and make the show great.

How you gonna have a talk show with a niggah that has a speech impediment???

    Gtfo

Stephen a is the goat in the "debate " game

    And it's not even close.

I agree that FT is pretty much unwatchable... rather watching some of the Undisputed clips on the NBA, at least it's somewhat amusing with Skip staying true to his Lebron hate und Sharpe being a Lebron fanboy

Shannon Sharpe destroys Skip, but at least Skip takes it.

Max destroys Steven A Smith, and all that idiot does is scream nonsense back at him.

Goes to show that you can put 2 retards together (Skip and Stephen A) and make a fan favorite show.

Stephen A Smith has become unbearable to watch since Skip left.

I forgot to mention: I like that Skip and Shannon mostly don't interrupt themselves and yell at each other... First Take on the other hand (it has always been like that, but Max is helpless with Screaming A Smith)

    Undisputed is better.

Also, Max Kellerman is a complete dumb ass.

Both shows are getting shit ratings in big markets

"Given the high-profile nature of Skip Bayless’s defection from ESPN to FS1, many entities that cover sports media have documented the viewership for Bayless’s former show (ESPN2’s First Take) versus his current show (FS1’s Undisputed), especially since they are competing against each other in the same time slot. Between Sept. 6 and Oct.6, for example, First Take averaged 325,000 viewers while Undisputed was sitting at 90,000 per show. Worth noting: First Take was down 29% in viewership versus last year from Labor Day to Oct. 3. SportsTVRatings.com is always a good place for updated ratings.

While FS1 executives are chirping that First Take’s drop is a victory for them—Bayless’s show has provided help to Colin Cowherd’s talk show which airs at noon ET on FS1 and has averaged around 90,000-100,000 viewers of late—it’s worth looking inside Undisputed’s numbers. According to industry sources, the show is drawing a 0.0 rating in 23 television markets, including big markets such as Boston, Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis-St. Paul, San Francisco and many other cities. The show’s top-rated markets are Orlando, Greensboro, Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Richmond, where Undisputed is averaging a 0.2 rating. The combined metered market of the show is 0.08.

With the expenditure FS1 made on Bayless’s salary ($5.5 million per year plus signing bonuses) and the ubiquitous marketing for that show during Fox’s high-rated NFL afternoon games, it’s fair to ask whether a Bayless-led show drawing 40,000 fewer viewers than a practice session for the Malaysia Grand Prix airing on NBCSN last Friday at 6 a.m. ET should be deemed a bust at this point of its early tenure. If Bayless asks such questions about athletes living up to their contract, it’s certainly a fair question to ask of his bosses."
