Happy birthday, Reggie Miller!
50-40-90 club.
5 time all star.
Clutch master.
Spike Lee killer.
All time leading scorer for the Pacers.
Never changed teams to ring chase.
Best player on a lot of great teams that had to face the Knicks, Bulls, Heat, etc.
Better than Ray Allen.

The first year he was eligible, he didn't even get enough votes to be on the final ballot. The next year he gets enough votes for final ballot AND gets voted in!?!??!!?!?
Very shady and a joke.

Wow, only a 5x All Star? Wasn't he in the league for like 15 years and a member of Team USA?

But Reggie's first year he didn't even make the cut to be considered for the HOF.
I would bet Willis at least made the cut for consideration to be voted in his 1st year.

Some players don't make the cut the first time around. Chris Webber didn't make it this past season but he's sure to make at least the ballot for 2015.

led a team to the Finals at 34 years old...averaged 24/2/3 for the post-season, 21.8 PER, 60%TS, .195 WS/48, 122 ORTG. AT 34 YEARS OLD. This man is a HOFer.
Wow, didn't realize he shot 1/16 in the First game of the Finals. That GOATbe defense.

Just seems weird that a guy isn't good enough to even make the final ballot one year, yet the next year he makes the final cut and gets voted in.

The SG position was a tad bit tougher in Reggie's day.
Jordan
Drexler
Richmond
Dumars
Sprewell
Steve Smith
Hornacek
Etc

He's a career 18-3-3 guy with 3 all nba teams and no MVP's. The only thing he's remembered for is his FT and 3pt shooting, flopping and the incident with Spike Lee.
The only reason he's in is because it's called the Basketball HOF and not the NBA HOF
