And the first time ever recorded on a state park.

[QUOTE]Hawaii may be known for sunny beaches, but it's not that unusual for the state to get snow a few times a year. However, that's usually limited to its highest points, such as Mauna Kea, which rises nearly 14,000 feet in elevation, reports SFGate. Snow rarely is seen below 10,000 feet

Re: Hawaii receives lowest recorded elevation snowfall in history
i understand your narrative here, but global warming is measured on a global scale, not hawaii.
anyhow, Hawaii may be the most beautiful place in the USA

We have only been recording temperatures for 135 years... for all we know this is the natural cycle of the Earth

Of course they do.
In 2019, scientific fact is up for debate.

Re: Hawaii receives lowest recorded elevation snowfall in history
environmental scientists are in virtually unanimous consensus

Which is the most logical answer to what's happening.

Re: Hawaii receives lowest recorded elevation snowfall in history
OP needs to get his agenda in line with MAGA...
First he links a scientific study claiming the decimation of the Native American populace as a reason the earth went through a cool down period because of a continental lack of farming, which would lend credence to the fact that humans CAN affect the earth's climate and now he links us to a study trying to undermine global warming...
Which is it OP? Do humans affect the world's climate or nah?

Scientists have ways of studying earth's climate past, from sediment, tree rings, Artic ice etc. I don't believe the Ice Age happened within the last 150 years yet we know it happened...oh wait, cavemen left a journal

Reminds me of the arguments the tabacco industry used to make. "People have been dying from cancer for millennia. How do we know our products are causing cancer and that this isn't a naturally occuring phenomenon!"

No one denies that climate is changing, however our influence on the change is debatable. Earth's climate has been changing for millions of years.. with or without humans.
Do you think wasting less water or driving your car less makes that much of a difference? If you really want to make a difference, stop eating meat.
The amount of trees we cut down so we can farm is ridiculous. You take farms out & replace them back with trees, that will have a huge impact on the environment.

Any solutions that could inconvenience the left are out of the question.
Climate change is not about sacrifice or making a difference or saving the environment. It’s about feeling superior on the internet to those whose list of current outrages/injustices is not as up to date and trendy as yours.

Re: Hawaii receives lowest recorded elevation snowfall in history
Not one mention climate change and the libs are all triggered by cold weather. How much humans are affecting the climate is unknown. If someone tells you matter of factly they do know, they are lying. What we do know, is that if it is significant and humans are making the weather either colder or hotter, there's a 50% chance that we are making it BETTER. Depends if you think the earth needs to warm up or cool down.
I've always wondered why these people get so caught up with global warming or climate change as they call it now for a catch-all phrase, and instead focus on pollution which can be measured and health effects directly verified. I guess climate change as a doomsday scenario is much more dramatic allowing more money to flow into research, better virtue signaling for those in search of a cause, and a better tool for politicians to control the population with.
