Now were definitely going after Vasquez. If he re-signs (which seems to Vasquez top priority), then we would have gotten back Lowry, Patterson, and Vasquez all at solid deals.

We would probably have some cap room to get 1 more player too. Please get rid of Landry Fields if possibly, Masai.

Clears up cap room next year for a max contract. Also opens up a roster spot for this year (assuming we re-sign Vasquez).

    Diante Garrett.

Once the deal becomes official Garrett is going to be waived.

The Toronto Raptors and the Utah Jazz have agreed on a trade that would send power forward Steve Novak to the Jazz in exchange for Diante Garrett, as confirmed to the Deseret News.

The move makes real sense for the Jazz for one reason, Novak can really shoot the ball from the outside. That is the only really effective part of his game, and everyone knows it, including Novak. He can shoot it so well from beyond the arc (43.2 percent for his career), that he has managed to last eight seasons in the NBA on that one skill alone.

I was actually impressed with his defense against Brooklyn. He really stepped up, but obviously I'm happy with the trade.

I just have this feeling that Masai is going to pull something crazy this year.

So looking at all those "cap number and FA threads" over looked I think is the Bargnani trade.

    Toronto got :

    Camby
    Novak
    1st round 2016
    2nd rounder 2015 ??

If that correct? Something along that lines.

It turns out the real trade looks like this:

    1) Camby buyout $650M Cap hit limiting flexibility
    2) $900M guard from Utah we intend to waive to resign other players
    3) 1st rounder ~ 10 overall ?
    4) Traded to Utah to absorb Novak.

I actually didn't mind him, would've preferred it to be Hayes or Fields shipped out instead but eh not that big a deal.
