It's not a surprise to us bulls fans. he's a great coach, but the all-timers know how to adapt. im hoping he can because lately he hasn't.

He is basically a white version of Mike Brown. Good defense, poor offense, unable to adjust in game. The difference is Mike was a coach whose teams overachieved, Thibs teams underachieve.

Thibs runs a pretty good offense. He might not be a great Xs and Ox guy but he stresses the right things. Mike Brown just lets his assistants or players coach when it comes to offense.

thibs run good offensive sets that relies on screens, cutting and lots of passing. The problem is chicago doesn't have any player other than rose that can create his own shot from the perimeter.

Mike Brown has zero offense. He's the Jason Collins of coaches

Thibs offensive motion and wrinkles out of it are pretty solid, especially for the lack of offensive creators he has to work with. Can't really fault the offense when your only real offensive stud is out.

Not really an awesome X and O guy for offense though. But he's a defensive genius so he makes up for it.

Look, I'm thrilled my Sixers are in a position to possibly succeed. I had them losing in 5-6 to a Bulls team that, with Rose and Noah, is simply better.

But the Bulls went into the series with two distinct mismatches: Rose and their size on the boards, especially Noah because he's so active defensively. They lost both. Unless you've got undiscovered stars on your bench, you're in a really bad way. You just can't make chicken salad out of chicken sh!t.

For all their post-game posturing, I doubt Bulls fans watching the game were screaming "Take Rose out!!!". Injuries happen. It sucks when they happen to your team, but using that as a jumping off point to suddenly rag on the coach you've been lauding the past couple years is fandom at it's most childish worst.

    yeah this is luls.

They lost their best players. haha.

    ADJUST TO THAT.

They were up 1-0 in a blowout when they had their MVP candidate.

That's why players get MVPs because they are that important to their team.

I'm referring to the weakness of Chicago as a team. They need a 2nd guy that can attack off the dribble. I totally understand Thibs leaving Rose in Game 1. Its the playoffs and you're supposed to make a statement. I want thibs to remain as bulls coach
