His help defense is fantastic, and his man to man defense is good and sometimes has flashes of brilliance there, but his man to man defense is pretty overrated.

Best help defender in the league... excellent technique, awareness and (obviously) all-galaxy athleticism.

So, he's not overrated unless you find help defense to be of little importance. But in this league help defense is critical.

His coverage is insane.... offenses literally rot when he's in their radius.

You'll be hard-pressed to find a wing defender who helps out as much as him. He can switch onto nearly everybody.
Most of the time, help defense is more important than man-to-man defense anyway.

yes, when he "held" d rose to "6%" shooting in the 4th quarter, it was really his teammates in addition to his twisted ankle.

btw, did we not forget about the game where he was supposedly suppose to guard kevin garnett, he ended up with 5 fouls. i actually predicted that he would come close to fouling out if he tried to gaurd garnett for most the game.
