Default 1996 Bulls and 2020 Clippers closest to an identical team in NBA history?

Every single position is eerily similar, replacement-like similiar.

If anyone manages to take down these modern day Bulls they're automatic GOAT

Scottie's playmaking ≠ PG's playmaking. There really isn't a true playmaker on the Clippers at all right now.

It's a small detail compared to the bigger picture. Just like Jordan >>> Kawhi. But the as a unit it's as close as a comparison as we can get to the modern day version of the Bulls

It's a huge detail when it comes to the actual function of the team.

Without getting into a whos better than who comparison it's not that bad an analogy. I agree with above that Scottie's playmaking is better than George as his counterpart( and Kahwi's for that matter), though PG13 is a better scorer.

Is that the year MJ won regular season MVP, all-star MVP, Finals MVP, scoring title and 1st team all-defense (goat individual accolades), plus 70 wins and the title (goat team season)??

There isn't any aspect of Kawhi's offensive game that is better than 96' Jordan.. we can agree to disagree on defense

Yea but george can actually shoot and score.

What did pippen do offensively in the second threepeat?

he was ass on that side... as was rodman. This team has a higher offensive cieling.

    In the playoffs per 36

    19 Kawhi - 28.1 ppg off 62%TS

    96 MJ - 27.1 ppg off 56%TS (shortened 3 point line)

So Kawhis scoring numbers are still better despite MJ getting the luxury of a WNBA 3 point line

Don't even get me started on defense

19 Kawhi > second 3-peat MJ accept it

Also Paul George > second 3-peat Pippen
