They desperately want him to be the face of the NBA. I agree with you.

The 2003 draft class had coverage of lebron but you saw a lot of melo and wade.

    The whole thing was cringeworthy.

The fact that you could hear Rachel Nichols and Woj throughout the whole arena was bad. Woj straight up saying that the Lakers pick could be used in an AD trade changed Kyle Kuzma's whole face.

Rachel Nichols couldnt have sucked Zion off any harder. The disrespect she showed to RJ when she was interviewing both of them was disgusting. That white bitch needs to learn some respect.

Second when the hell did Woj and Rachel Nichols become ESPNs face of college basketball... Out of all the great analysts you could have got to do the show you pick these 2 clowns? They dont even watch the game they are NBA reporters

I felt terrible for the other players.

That whole scene was gross and disheartening.

Someone from within the media needs to call out the media for this shit.

Ever since MJ's retirement in '98, they've all been desperate for that money making machine. They did it to Shaq/Kobe, then LeBron. Now they have nobody; Giannis? Kawhi? Steph?

The NBA has become the Teen Beat of the sporting world and everybody is laughing at them!

Since the quality of the game has gone to sh!t with no more rivalries or captivating personalities of the great players such as guys like Jordan, Magic, Bird or Barkley they have hitched their wagon on Twitter fake dramatics and propping up manufactures "stars" thanks to rule changes and marketing.

I'm so glad this overhyped kid wen the THE SMALLEST MARKET in the NBA because frankly for all their boasting they don't occupy the number #1 spot in ANY of the big/mid markets they share with the NFL, MLB, NHL or NCAA football, heck in some of them they are 3rd:

New York: Yankees, Giants and Jets before Knicks
Boston: Patriots and Red Sox before Celtics
Chicago: Bears, Cubs, White Sox before Bulls
LA: Dodgers and USC before Lakers
San Francisco: Niners and Giants before Warriors
Miami: Dolphins and Hurricanes before Heat
Cleveland: Browns and Indians before Cavs
Detroit: Lions, Tigers and Red Wings before Pistons
Arizona: Cardinals and Diamondbacks before Suns
Atlanta: Falcons and Braves before Hawks
Washington: Redskins and Nationals before Wizards
Philadelphia: Eagles and Phillies before Sixers
Houston: Texans and Astros before Rockets
Denver: Broncos, Rockies and Avalanche before Nuggets

The NBA is really not as popular as ESPN wants to beat you over the head saying it is. It's a niche sport that centers its health around INDIVIDUAL manufactures "stars".

Huh? So you'd rather want a young 6-12 team instead of AD?

This is much worse. In the past they would acknowledge the new era of players

It's pretty annoying if you follow ESPN on social media, every post is about Zion even when he's not even playing.
