Watching NBA in 20 years
In 20 years watching NBA there will be tiny cameras in jerseys of all players, allowing to watch the game from a vantage point of the camera. Hundreds of miniscule camera drones will hover over the court allowing for full virtual reality of the game. You can 'be' in the middle of the action and watch the game.
Each player of course has nano-tech in their jerseys and sweatbands tracking position at all times for every second of the game, allowing for unprecendented amount of analytics and geekery.
Because of this, ISH users will not leave their rooms switching only between NBA streams and VR porn.

In 20 years. I'll be on ISH telling everyone how great this era was and how none of their superstars will ever amount to Duncan, LeBron, Kobe status. Seems like a good use of my time.

Great... that's all we need are squeaker teens who suck at life and basketball continue to suck and fail and be even less driven than they already are since watching VR basketball will give them their "fill". Long gone will be the days of outdoor basketball courts where kids are out hooping all day and you have to wait an hour just to get into a game. That's how it was growing up with MJ. Real interaction just like going to a video game arcade and playing against real people, talking shit in each others faces instead of talking over a headset. Pure pussification is what has happened here. I can't imaging how shitty life would feel not knowing what it's like to experience such things. Glad I made the cutoff before the pussification began.

LeBron and Kobe definitely, but they'll still be able to watch Duncan firsthand...

NBA rookie of the year
Re: Watching NBA in 20 years
They will have 4 pt field goals. There will be literally no traveling violations. Players will wear light weight helmets. Uniforms will be covered with advertisements. Any records before 2010 will not count or just not talked about. The first woman will have played by 20 years even though she sucked balls. Team names will be even more generic and boring. More expansion. More watered down than today. It will be gawd awful.

It becomes more and more apparent with every post that you really don't know that the fvck you're talking about.
You seem to be one of those people that sees only what they want to see.

I make educated posts based on visual observations and make predictions based on these observations. I find that many others that comprehend sound logic share the same opinions. Instead of just accepting this, you get emotional and make irrational posts such as the one above.
If for example you can't see the pussification of current gen relative to past gen, then you are refusing to see reality simply because it has a negative connotation to it.

Damn. The words you type are just painful. And not in the way you think they would be
You troll on a message board known for having trolls. Settle the fvck down dude.
And to the OP...I'm legitimately confused. You're an ISH user. You are no different than most of us. Right down to having an overly important view of yourself.

The NBA in 2036?
- They'll probably have some more teams.
- Shorter shot clock.
- Larger roster.
Of course there will be some superstars who control the league and adjust the rules. Example 'Jordan rules', 'Hack-a-Shaq', etc.

Re: Watching NBA in 20 years
Cameras on Jerseys for a game like basketball wouldn't work. Maybe on their forehead. If it's tiny enough. If possible, an eyeball. But that's not 20 years down the line.
20 years is not even that long of a time. The only difference from 20 years ago is that we record in higher resolution. The same will be true 20 years from now.

In 20 years, no physical contact will be allowed.
It'll be like those battles from ancient times, where each army sends out one fighter to fight one on one, and the winning side, wins.
So, each team will recruit the best shooters, and there won't be a game, it'll just be a three point competition. But they'll only play once a week. Player safety and all that.
