LaMarcus Aldridge looked fantastic in his shocking return to the lineup on Saturday during a 103-96 victory over the Wizards, making 9-of-22 from the field for 26 points with nine rebounds, three assists and two steals in 36 minutes. He wore a brace on his thumb and didn't seem to be too bothered with his injury. Aldridge was hit on his bad hand a few times and was not in visible pain. Additionally he had some interesting comments today. Before the game, Aldridge said that he is going to try to play through the injury, but he did leave the door open for him changing his mind. Following the game, he said the Blazers losing two games in a row before tonight factored into his decision. Aldridge also said "of course" when he was asked about his thumb hurting. He didn't mention Nicolas Batum (wrist) directly, but reading between the lines suggests that was a factor, too. Aldridge is going to be a volatile fantasy property, but he's a must start player while he's active.
