If you're speaking for who had the better year, probably Durant seeing as he won the MVP, won the #2 seed, and made it through multiple rounds of the playoffs. As for who was the better player, that's probably Kobe. Kobe was held back by his team a ton, more so than Durant, but he still lit up insane numbers and almost carried his team to a series victory against the MVP Nash.

Durant. Even in the playoffs(where both significantly regressed) he was superior. And did it against far better defenses in the postseason
