with people talking about KD's struggles in the vegas summer league, let's not forget the kid is STILL 18 years old. He is like 4-6 months older than your average high school senior.

i should have his shots vs New York up in about a hour or so.

edit: sorry i don't have it up yet, i over slept yesterday
Should have it done by tonight.

he has been getting plenty of open looks, his shot just hasen't been falling.

Although his last 13 shots vs GS he went 8-13. Maybe he turned a corner with his shot. We shall see.

One thing that i like about his game, is he is willing to learn, and grow. he also is not afraid to take it to the rim, whenever he pleases. That is encouraging. although he is getting beat up down low, with time he will be dominant, i can almost guarantee it.

What I like about Durant's game is he already have a better jumpshoot than Lebron when Bron was 18. His offensive game is more polished than any of the player, who was drafted since 2004 and he is also the tallest SG guard in the league at 6'9" (Barefeet) and 6'10.25" in shoes with a 7'4 3/4" Wingspan. Durant frequently used it to his advantage by posting up bigger players, while shooting over smaller guards.

I would not even be suprised if he will average a double double performance in his rookie season. He might possibly be the best rookie in this years draft and become one of the most talented scorers of all time.

    Durant to Start at SG

    Tacoma News Tribune - 09/05 - 11:08 AM EST

According to Seattle beat writer Eric Williams, he believes Kevin Durant will start at shooting guard during his rookie season.

Jeff Green, the Sonics' other lottery pick, will start at small forward or be one of the first players off the bench at that position.

I think Kevin Durant will play the SG position on offense, but defensively, he'll spend more time matched up with some of league's Small Forward. Durant's pretty quick himself, but his freakishly long arms allows him recover against faster, but much smaller players. He need to bulk up more if he wants to consider himself as Power Forward. I think his game is more of an athletic Dirk Nowitzki and his defense reminds me of the early days of Garnett with the Timberwolves.

it will be a good experiment to put kd at the 2

in time, he will probably be a better 3 as his body develops and he learns to play nba style defense

Yeah he probably will be a three eventually. Putting him at the two allows other players like Szczerbiak and Green to get in the game, whereas if he started at the three, Szczerbiak would be playing a bit out of position if he was the starter, or they would have a big hole if someone else was starting there.

[B][URL="http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/21/sports/basketball/21sonics.html"]As deftly as he releases his smooth jump shot, Kevin Durant refutes the desperate talk in Seattle that he is the Seattle SuperSonics

Here are a few of KD's photos. They are not great. But for now, they should quench you KD fans for awhile until Sports illustrated comes out with the good ones.
